God, I have really original titles, no?

The "official" grand opening of the new comic book store in my town was today, and in celebration they hosted a costume contest. I finally got my butt into gear and made a Shadowcat costume, which I've been wanting to do for a while. Kitty is one of my favorite X-men, although I don't really know why. I don't have reasons for a lot of my feelings. They just happen. :/

So, this turned out pretty well...I didn't have a catsuit pattern and I would have had to order one off amazon, something I didn't have time for, so I just kind of winged it with a pair of old pants and a surfing shirt as a pattern.
There are a couple of things that I want to fix because I'm not happy with them, like the gloves and the border of the "V" thing, but over all I like how it looks.
Plus it makes me look about 5 pounds thinner then when I wear an over-sized t-shirt like I do most of the time...so that's a plus. Yeah.
